Position Summary:
The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing manufacturing equipment and industrial facilities. The primary focus is on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving equipment failures to ensure high availability and efficiency of machinery, following corporate quality and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical failures in industrial machinery.

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to established schedules.

  • Provide rapid and effective solutions to unexpected production downtimes.

  • Use diagnostic tools and instruments (calipers, multimeters, diagnostic software, PLCs, etc.).

  • Recommend and implement improvements in processes, equipment, and systems to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

  • Comply with safety, quality, and medical device industry regulations.

  • Collaborate with other departments (production, engineering, quality).

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in Industrial Mechanics, Electronics, Electromechanics, or related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting industrial equipment.

  • Knowledge of PLC systems, sensors, motors, pumps, and automated manufacturing equipment.

  • Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry (preferred).

  • Ability to work rotating shifts and respond to emergencies after hours.

  • Results-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
