Kelly Job Description: Sourcing Specialist I
Location: Columbus, IN
Position Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Schedule: Standard business hours
Pay Rate: $23/hr
Job Summary
The Sourcing Specialist I is responsible for supporting the Hardware team in managing large datasets, updating purchase agreements, handling supplier regulations, and resolving discrepancies across multiple internal systems. This dynamic role offers both independent and collaborative work, requiring responsiveness to frequent requests and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- GBPA & FIT Updates:
- Manage mass updates for hundreds to thousands of part numbers based on Metal Market changes.
- Utilize mass upload tools, update/add parts in SFD, verify PO and ASL flows in Oracle.
- Track completed projects and submit FIT-related updates.

- GSAR Updates:
- Process ~2–5 GSARs per month mainly for payment info or new supplier sites.
- Coordinate with suppliers and approval teams, ensuring full compliance and timely approval.

- Outfiles/IPV Resolution:
- Review and resolve 50–100+ outfiles monthly, typically due to price discrepancies.
- Investigate issues; collaborate with sourcing managers as needed for verifications or adjustments.

- Daily Support & Issue Resolution:
- Handle frequent, varied daily requests from the Hardware team.
- Pull part prints (Windchill), send PO PDFs (Oracle), correct parts on BPAs, resolve stuck records, and assist with system/supplier issues.

- VPCR & SCR Management:
- Work with sourcing team members to initiate Value Package Change Requests and Supplier Change Requests as project needs dictate.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Quick to learn new systems & interfaces; adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong collaboration skills.
- Able to respond effectively to multiple simultaneous requests and prioritize workload.
