Kelly Services is actively recruiting Production Technicians / Production Operators for a high-purity chemical manufacturing facility located on Woodrush Way, Portland, OR 97203. Shifts Available
- Day Shift: 6:00AM–2:30PM
- Swing Shift: 2:00PM–10:30PM
- Night Shift: 10:00PM–6:30AM
- Coming Soon: 4-day/10-hour schedules as staffing ramps up
Responsibilities
- Work in a clean room environment
- Safely handle and transfer chemicals
- Label, inspect, package, and prepare drums
- Follow strict safety, quality, and contamination-control procedures
- Wear PPE (including clean room attire and respirators as required)
- Support production operations in a chemical manufacturing plant
- Learn specialized processes supporting semiconductor and AI industries
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, semiconductor, clean room, or related fields
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures
- Interest in working in clean room/chemical-processing environments
- Willingness to learn and advance in a specialized manufacturing role
Transferable skills and eagerness to learn are welcome! Personality, reliability, safety awareness, and leadership potential are highly valued.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Background check, drug test, and medical physical required
- Consistent and recent employment history (no large gaps)
- 5–6 years of general employment preferred
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in relevant environments (manufacturing, production, warehouse, distribution, etc.)
- Interest in overtime opportunities
- Understanding of North Portland location and shift structure (current and upcoming)
- Awareness of PPE required and nature of the work
