Sanitation Associate – Food Safety & Facility Maintenance

Location: Little Rock, AR
Pay: $18/hour
Employment Type: 3-Month Contract
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday,  5 PM – 2:30 AM (Mandatory OT required)


Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Associate to join our team in Little Rock, AR. In this role, you will maintain facility cleanliness and support the food safety and quality of our products. This is a 3-month contract position with a Sunday through Thursday night shift schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness across the entire facility to ensure sanitary conditions

  • Dispose of boxes in the compactor and pick up trash throughout the facility and outside areas

  • Sweep, mop, and squeegee floors as needed

  • Wipe condensation as required

  • Handle disposal of inedible products on the property

  • Clean and sanitize break rooms (tables, chairs, countertops, microwaves, etc.)

  • Restock production supplies (hairnets, aprons, sleeves, gloves, etc.)

  • Restock restroom supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.)

  • Report needed repairs immediately to supervisor (e.g., leaky faucets, toilets)

  • Submit written reports of unsafe conditions or acts to management

  • Participate in safety programs and adhere to sanitation schedules

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned or listed in the Master Sanitation Schedule

Requirements:

  • • 1 year of Sanitation experience required

  • • 1 year of Warehouse experience required

  • • Experience working in a warehouse environment around equipment/heavy machinery

  • Commitment to cleanliness and food safety

  • Ability to follow sanitation schedules and procedures

  • Attention to detail and reliable reporting of facility issues

  • Physically able to perform tasks in various facility environments

  • Team player with effective communication skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous sanitation or janitorial experience in a food production environment

  • Familiarity with safety programs and facility maintenance
