Job Posting: Quality Control Technician – Advanced Handheld X-ray Devices
Location:Tewksbury MA 01876
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM Start
Pay Rate: 17.25hr


Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Quality Control Technician to support the testing and quality of advanced handheld X-ray devices. Our products serve the safety & security, mining and minerals, and pharmaceutical industries worldwide. This role is pivotal in ensuring our devices meet rigorous quality, performance, and regulatory standards before deployment to customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct incoming inspection of raw parts for three product lines

  • Operate hand measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, etc.

  • Handle and inspect small components using microscopes, tweezers, and gloves

  • Make sound judgments based on visual inspection and quality indicators

  • Participate actively in continuous improvement efforts

  • Balance multiple quality control activities in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment

  • Communicate effectively at all organizational levels regarding inspection outcomes (both wins and losses)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills in a results-oriented setting

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Effective communicator and team participant

  • Ability to work among a multi-skilled team

  • High school diploma required

  • 0-3 years of work experience

  • Experience with automated or semi-automated inspection equipment is a plus

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) required

  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus
