Feed Mill Operator
Pay: $24.00/hour
Shift: 3rd Shift | Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Overtime and weekends as needed
PPE: Steel or Composite Toe Boots
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Summary
Operate feed mill and production equipment to support manufacturing operations while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
• Operate feed mill equipment and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Monitor production processes and meet daily production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Complete production documentation and perform basic computer tasks.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
• Forklift certification required.
• Feed mill experience required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or production experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and sense of urgency.
• Must pass a background check.
Physical Requirements
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and work in tight spaces.
• Comfortable working at heights over 5 feet.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, and dusty environments.
Ideal candidate: A safety-focused, dependable operator with feed mill and forklift experience who can work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
