Join Our Team! Quality Control Inspector – The Sorter

Location: New Albany
Employment Type: 4–6-week project
Pay: $15

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector – The Sorter to ensure the integrity and excellence of our injection-molded products throughout the production cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct first piece, last piece, and in-process inspections to guarantee product quality and conformity.

  • Perform capability studies to validate process performance.

  • Maintain precise inspection records, document test results, and promptly report any non-conformance issues.

  • Collaborate with production teams and machine operators to maintain consistent quality and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Use measuring tools and gauges to verify product specifications.

  • Assist in training new team members on quality standards and inspection procedures.

  • Complete final product audits and perform pre- and post-line clearance activities.

  • Perform cleanroom pressure checks and environmental monitoring as needed.

  • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

  • Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving production quality issues.

  • Other duties as assigned by the QC Manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to move throughout the facility, perform tasks at a production press and computer station.

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
