Fire Watch Support
Pay rate: $15.00 p/h
Shift: Rotating 12-hour schedule (3 days on / 3 days off)
• 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
• Day/Night rotation every 28 days
Position Summary
The Fire Watch Support team member is responsible for monitoring designated facility areas to identify potential fire hazards and unsafe conditions. This role requires strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to follow established emergency and reporting procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Patrol assigned areas throughout the facility using a company-provided golf cart.
• Monitor for fire hazards, smoke, unusual odors, and other safety concerns.
• Report hazards, incidents, and abnormal conditions promptly.
• Follow all fire watch procedures, safety policies, and emergency protocols.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members.
• Operate a golf cart safely and responsibly.
Qualifications
• Strong observation and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently.
• Ability to safely operate a golf cart (training provided).
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Outdoor and indoor facility patrols.
• Frequent walking and extended periods of sitting while operating a golf cart.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
