Direct Hire:
Day Shift 7:30am-4:00pm
Pay Rate: $60-63K
What’s a typical day as Production Lead? You’ll be:
- Managing daily manufacturing operations and ensuring production schedules are executed efficiently
- Coaching and developing team members on the production floor, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Enforcing company policies, quality standards, and standardized processes across all shifts
- Coordinating labor resources and ensuring materials, tooling, and documentation are ready for production
- Tracking downtime, setup performance, and recurring production losses, escalating issues as needed
- Promoting cross-training and structured skills development for operators and technicians
- Supporting compliance with ISO 13485 standards and customer requirements, including non-conformance reporting and root cause investigations
- Leading daily continuous improvement activities, focusing on reducing scrap, downtime, setup time, and waste
- Upholding organized work areas using 5S principles and visual management practices
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Demonstrate strong coaching, problem-solving, and accountability skills
- Are knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement processes
- Understand and can enforce quality standards such as ISO 13485
- Possess excellent organizational skills and a commitment to workplace excellence
- Are able to work across all shifts and adapt to a dynamic production environment
- Hold a technical or manufacturing-related degree (preferred), or equivalent experience
