Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $25.00/hour

Shift: 8am – 5pm M-F

What’s a typical day as a Preboarding Specialist? You’ll be:

• Serving as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive and seamless preboarding experience from offer acceptance to Day 1
  

• Coordinating pre-employment screenings (background checks, drug tests, physicals) and tracking progress to ensure timely completion
  

• Supporting I-9 compliance by monitoring documentation and ensuring timely completion in accordance with federal requirements
  

• Liaising with internal HR teams, Health & Safety, and external vendors to resolve issues and maintain service-level expectations
  

• Managing candidate records in Workday, supporting documentation audits, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives
  

• Providing project-based support for merger, acquisition, or other large-scale hiring events as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred), or at least 5 years of progressive professional experience in HR operations, preboarding, onboarding, or compliance-focused roles
  

• Bring high-volume hiring experience, especially in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  

• Possess strong organizational, follow-up, and communication skills
  

• Demonstrate a high attention to detail and commitment to compliance and data accuracy
  

• Are proficient with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and ideally have experience with Workday and employment screening services
  

• Thrive independently and collaboratively within diverse teams
