Material Handler  – 1st Shift

Location:NASHVILLE 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Pay Rate: $18.00–$20.00 per hour (DOE)

What’s a typical day as a Material Handler?

  • Safely move, organize, and transport materials throughout the warehouse or production facility

  • Load and unload shipments while maintaining inventory accuracy

  • Supply production areas with necessary materials to support daily operations

  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as required (certification preferred)

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

  • Support inventory control, cycle counts, and material tracking

  • Help achieve daily productivity and operational goals

  • Offer guidance and direction to team members, assisting with workflow coordination and issue resolution

  • Serve as a backup leader, assisting with training, coaching, and communicating priorities

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have previous experience as a Material Handler in a warehouse or manufacturing setting

  • Have served as a Team Lead, Lead Material Handler, or Supervisor (preferred)

  • Are comfortable operating material handling equipment (forklift experience a plus)

  • Possess strong organizational and communication skills

  • Can work independently and lead by example

  • Are able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be physically active for most of the shift

  • Are committed to safety, quality, and teamwork
