Overview:
This warehouse position involves the timely and accurate reporting of material movements that occur daily. Responsibilities include a complete set of transaction activities such as picking/staging for sales orders and service depot locations, picking components for production work orders, and staging materials for movement to Contract Manufacturers. The position also encompasses receiving vendor materials, processing customer RMA returns/vendor repair returns, issuing materials to engineering projects, and replenishing lab supplies. Additionally, it includes packing products for safe transport and completing domestic and international shipping documentation. Participation in daily cycle counting and other periodic physical inventory activities is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Support inventory and warehouse policies and procedures, including daily cycle counts, warehouse security, daily processing, and fiscal period cutoffs.
- Post inventory transactions daily into SAP, adhering to defined warehouse procedures and work instructions.
- Organize and move material to and from off-site warehouses in support of engineering, as requested.
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel, quality inspection staff, and shipping personnel to support operational needs.
- Participate in the warehouse 5S workplace organization initiative to maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized environment.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of materials to allow shipping partners to prepare freight for same-day pickup.
- Confirm all necessary information on documents is correct to avoid misplacement of materials.
- Remain flexible and available to shift into multiple areas of the operation to provide support as business needs increase.
- Perform daily assigned cycle counts to help maintain a world-class inventory percentage of 99.9.
- Pack and ship materials for domestic and international destinations.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma and at least two years of related experience are required.
- A license to drive material handling equipment (Forklift, Reach Truck, and Stock Picker) is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Computer proficiency, with experience in performing inventory transactions in a computer-based business system.
- Knowledge of inventory controls or related experience in a managed inventory environment is required; SAP experience is highly desirable.
- Experience processing RMA and MRB products is preferred.
- Proficient in using Excel.
- Comfortable leading regular meetings with management and cross-functional teams.
- Capable of managing tasks while ensuring effective and accurate communication.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
