Production Assembler – 2nd Shift
Shift: Monday-Thursday | 4:00 PM-2:15 AM
Overtime: Friday as needed
Position Summary
The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling door units according to specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Measure, cut, and assemble door units following SOPs and work instructions.
• Read bills of materials (BOMs) to verify correct materials and components.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools, including nail guns, screw guns, routers, and tape measures.
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
• Palletize, wrap, and label finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety and operational procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• 1-2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Ability to read work instructions and bills of materials.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or on a team.
Physical Requirements
• Stand for the entire shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
• Work in varying temperatures, including heat, humidity, and cold.
High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
