Job Title: QA Technician
Location: Four Oaks, NC
Schedule: Monday-Thursday (10-hour shift)
Hours: 5pm-3:30am
Reports To: QA Supervisor
Compensation: $17.50 an hour
Employment Type: Full time (temp -perm)

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and collecting quality data on all products to ensure specification, quality, and food safety requirements are consistently met. The role involves laboratory testing, line inspections, documentation, and effective communication with production and QA staff.
Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, collect, and document quality data to ensure compliance with product specifications, quality, and food safety standards.

  • Perform laboratory tests and quality line checks using established methods and report findings to relevant staff.

  • Communicate effectively with QA, production management, and line personnel regarding quality issues and deviations.

  • Assist in managing non-conforming products, including isolation and proper documentation of deviations.

  • Utilize ERP systems for inventory control and complete accurate data entry for all products.

  • Inspect incoming ingredients and participate in regular quality and food safety inspections as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing preferred.

  • Proficient in applying mathematical concepts; strong problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must be able to stand for ten hours or more.
