Quality Assurance Inspector

The QA Inspector is responsible for ensuring products meet established quality and regulatory requirements through inspection and documentation. This role supports manufacturing and production operations by identifying defects and helping maintain the highest levels of product quality and customer satisfaction.

Reports to: QMS Manager
Classification: Non-exempt, hourly

Duties:
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of materials, components, and finished products.
• Review product specifications, drawings, work instructions, and quality standards to ensure compliance.
• Utilize measuring and testing equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Document inspections and maintain accurate quality records.
• Use of QAP and SOP procedures.
• Inspect to meet Engineering specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and improve product quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:
• Experience using ERP or quality management software systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• FDA, GMP or ISO environment knowledge a plus (not mandatory)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual English Spanish a plus
• 2+ years of quality inspection or quality control experience

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk and perform inspections for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 25-50 lbs.
