Position Overview:
Quality Control Inspectors conduct thorough inspections, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure procedures are followed for incoming electronic and mechanical parts as well as during manufacturing and testing processes. You’ll investigate quality issues, work with engineering and suppliers, and recommend improvements as needed.  Shift runs from 4:00am – 12:30pm.  Hourly payrate of $24.20/hour.

Essential Duties:

  • Inspect and document products and processes, including electronic cables, GPS devices, Wi-Fi dongles, connectors, mechanical enclosures, shields, and other components

  • Perform inspections on raw materials and parts upon receipt and conduct fit checks

  • Inspect First Article components and subassemblies

  • Prepare in-process inspection reports

  • Maintain quality documentation and records

  • Identify serviceability of parts and tooling

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 1 year of electronic part inspection experience

  • Familiarity with inspection tools (multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, microscopes)

  • Ability to read basic schematics (PCBs, PWAs) and interpret blueprints and drawings

  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and communication systems

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capacity

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Successful background check and drug test required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with IPC-J-STD 610, 620, or 001 standards

  • Strong process and procedure adherence

  • Flexibility in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

  • Proactive problem-solving and communication skills

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional exposure to heat and cold

  • Bending, reaching, kneeling, or squatting to access shelves

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for incoming shipments

  • Walking and moving within labs
