Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (Permanent after approximately 30 days)

This company is a well-established, privately owned, family-operated manufacturing company located in Brockton, Massachusetts. We are seeking a dependable and organized Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. This position is ideal for someone with warehouse and forklift experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and teamwork.
Position Summary
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, operating forklifts, and ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped safely and efficiently. This position reports directly to the Shipping Manager and Plant Manager.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, unload, and accurately store incoming shipments.

Pick, pack, palletize, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.

Load and unload trucks using sit-down and stand-up forklifts.

Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, components, and finished goods.

Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and data entry.

Track, trace, and update outgoing shipments.

Process shipments using UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager (preferred).

Communicate professionally with vendors, delivery drivers, customer service, and internal departments.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Assist with general shipping and receiving operations as needed.

Build pallets and prepare products for transportation.

Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED required.
-
Previous warehouse and shipping/receiving experience required.

Forklift experience required (sit-down and stand-up forklifts).

Forklift certification preferred; training and certification available for qualified candidates.

Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager is preferred.

Strong computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams.

Basic math and data entry skills.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
