Kelly Services is hiring a Temporary Material Handler for distribution center in Louisville, KY.

Job Location: Louisville, KY

Work Schedule: Onsite

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 5:30pm

  • Friday: 7:30am – 11:30am

Pay Rate: $20.00

Position:
The Logistics Specialist facilitates the receipt, storage, and issuance of marketed products in a cGMP environment. This position operates within a distribution center atmosphere and supports activities including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping for the biotechnology industry.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack marketed products based on shipping orders.

  • Move products and non-GMP supplies using manual labor, pallet jacks, and powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, walkie riders, and turret trucks.

  • Perform physical counts of products.

  • Conduct functionality and safety checks on equipment (e.g. forklifts).

  • Access various databases and input data with a high level of accuracy.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

  • Create, collect, and store records in accordance with corporate retention policies.

  • Participate in department-related project activities, including investigating, analyzing, formulating solutions, documenting processes, and communicating results.

  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 5-6 years of industry experience.

  • BA or BS in Life or Physical Sciences preferred (may substitute with extensive inventory management or Bio/Pharma industry experience).

  • Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions.

  • Good basic mathematical skills.

  • Proficiency with PCs.
