Major details:

  • Shifts available (both shifts must be available to be trained during the 1st shift for a few weeks): 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:00 pm/ 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 pm–7:00 am 

  • Pay Rate: $19–$21/hr

  • Location: Menomonee Falls, WI

  • Contract: Temp-to-hire

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure products and processes consistently meet quality standards

  • Perform daily quality audits in manufacturing

  • Operate lab equipment: tensile/torsion testers, hardness testers, metallurgical tools, microscopes, etc.

  • Use CMM, VMM, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement devices

  • Complete quality documentation, inspections, non-conforming material reports, and quality alerts

  • Assist in creating work instructions and inspect incoming materials

  • Navigate computer systems for inspection reports and blueprints

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians and operators

  • Communicate with team members across shifts

  • Support training on new procedures and techniques

  • Perform basic math and unit conversions, including fractions, decimals, and statistics

  • Follow all safety standards and protocols

  • Other related duties as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of quality experience OR 5+ years of manufacturing experience

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools

  • Comfortable with computers, tablets, and printers

  • Problem-solving and interpersonal skills

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Great attention to detail and hands-on skills

  • Preferred: Understanding of metrology fundamentals, GD&T
