Snapshot: 
Pay Rate – $19.00 per hour, depending on experience—may be higher based on skill set.
Shift:  2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm
Must be able to train on 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm for the first few weeks

What’s a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector? You’ll be:

  • Performing daily audits of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications

  • Operating test lab equipment including tensile/torsion testers, hardness testers, metallurgical equipment, microscopes, CMM and VMM machines, and handheld measuring devices

  • Initiating and maintaining Quality System documentation (Inspections, NCMRs, quality alerts), and contributing to work instruction creation

  • Completing dimensional inspections of incoming raw materials and supporting gage R&R studies

  • Mentoring and providing guidance to Quality Technician I personnel and manufacturing operators

  • Communicating effectively across shifts and teams, and supporting operator training on new procedures or techniques

  • Applying basic math, arithmetic, and units of measure conversion; using computer and document management systems

  • Abiding by all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED

  • Bring at least 2 years of previous quality experience or 5+ years in manufacturing

  • Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook), and can navigate computer/tablet/printer systems

  • Can read blueprints, follow detailed instructions, and solve problems independently or as part of a team

  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to guide and mentor others

  • Preferred: Have an understanding of metrology fundamentals and GD&T
