Job Title: Production Operator I
Pay: $22/hr
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (Four 10-hour days)
Overtime: Currently required on Fridays until production is caught up
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Production Operator I to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will primarily be responsible for loading 20-foot panels of aluminum into a machine for powder coating. While the job does not involve heavy lifting regularly, you must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
You will also receive training to conduct quality control on aluminum panels at the end of the process. This position works as part of a 2-person team, and you will have the opportunity to rotate duties with the Feeder position during your shift. As you develop your skills, you may be trained on other parts of the production process, allowing you to advance your knowledge and career within the company.
Work Environment:
- The production area is not climate controlled.
- Steel-toe or composite boots/shoes are required (to be supplied by the employee).
- Safety glasses will be provided.
Requirements:
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Must pass a 10-panel rapid urine drug test
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
