Location: Near the airport in GR

Job Type: Full-time
Shift: 1st Shift  (6:00AM-3:30PM)
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr


We’re looking for a dedicated Fabrication Associate – Edger Operator to join our dynamic production team! In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our glass panels meet the highest standards of quality and safety. If you’re detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to develop your skills in a supportive environment, we invite you to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate the edger machine to polish glass panel edges.

  • Work collaboratively with the cut and temper lines to coordinate production priorities.

  • Inspect glass for quality, accuracy, and polish, matching specifications.

  • Measure final glass dimensions, reporting any discrepancies.

  • Notify supervisors of any issues related to quality or size.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and report tool wear or replacement needs.

  • Clean and organize the edger work area and washing machine after use.

  • Ensure all products meet SGP quality standards and adhere to safety protocols.

  • Proactively contribute suggestions for safety improvements.

What We’re Looking For:
 

  • Completion and passing score of a reading and tape measure assessment.

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or fabrication preferred.

  • Familiarity with glass production standards is a plus.

  • Keen attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.

  • Ability to safely and efficiently operate machinery.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Willingness to follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
