Production Operator I
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

About the Role:
You’ll join a committed team responsible for transforming raw materials into high-quality medical device products within our PTFE Department. Our operators perform essential assembly tasks, setups, quality checks, and contribute directly to the quality and reliability of our goods. You’ll operate according to production schedules, comply with documented procedures, and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret work orders, production drawings, and/or verbal instructions to perform assignments efficiently and accurately.
  

• Learn and demonstrate proficiency in all manufacturing procedures following comprehensive training.
  

• Complete all required documentation with accuracy, including Lot History Records (LHRs), Inspection Records, and Validation Documentation.
  

• Set up, position, and align components in jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices per specifications.
  

• Perform intermediate assembly operations, such as pad printing, adhesive and hot air bonding, balloon bonding, wire etching, shaft swaging, shaft fusing and skiving, folding, marking, braiding, coiling, and leak testing.
  

• Adjust and trim components to meet rigorous medical and dimensional standards.
  

• Conduct in-process visual inspections and functional tests to ensure products meet strict quality criteria.
  

• Package finished or subassembled products in accordance with procedures and customer requirements.
  

• Inspect work-in-process to defined quality standards, ensuring compliance with all specifications.
  

• Participate in training or cross-training as required, supporting team flexibility and operational goals.

Qualifications:

• 0–2 years of related work experience and/or relevant training in a manufacturing environment.
  

• Experience using a microscope during assembly and/or working with catheter materials or similar small-scale medical devices is preferred.
  

• Proficient English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
