Material Handler – Meat Room

Location: Denton, Texas
Employment Type: Full-Time | 2-2-3 Schedule (6am–6pm) | Multiple Openings
Are you ready for a hands-on, fast-paced role in a rewarding industry? Join our team as a Material Handler in the meat room of our dog food manufacturing facility in Denton, TX! We’re looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who aren’t afraid to get moving—and don’t mind working in cold conditions.

Pay & Schedule

  • Shift: 2-2-3 (6am–6pm) – Enjoy a rotating schedule with every other weekend off!

  • Pay: Competitive hourly wage (inquire for details)

What You’ll Do

  • Move, lift, and handle meat and raw materials throughout the meat room and production area.

  • Supply production lines with necessary ingredients and packaging.

  • Load, unload, stack, and organize materials for efficient workflow.

  • Assist with weighing, sorting, and preparing meat for processing.

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the meat room.

  • Operate material handling equipment (such as pallet jacks and carts) as needed.

  • Record and track inventory movements accurately.

  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth production operations.

  • Follow proper sanitation, hygiene, and food safety protocols at all times.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Who We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods.

  • Prior experience in manufacturing, food processing, or material handling is a plus.

  • Comfortable with physical tasks including frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (up to 50 lbs).

  • Reliable team player with a strong work ethic.

  • Willing to follow safety guidelines and company policies.

  • Must have reliable transportation.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Work in refrigerated/cold conditions for the majority of your shift.

  • Physical, active role—standing, walking, lifting and moving materials for up to 12 hours.

  • Plant environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
