Kelly, in partnership with a rapidly growing displays organization, is looking for a Quality Technician in Statesville, NC

This is a contract to hire position, meaning you will work through Kelly for a period of time prior to being hired with our client. Once hired permanently, you will be offered their competitive benefits, vacation, and compensation package!

Details:

• Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday
• Pay: $20 – $25 per hour

Job Description:
The Quality Technician is responsible for performing routine visual inspections of manufactured products to ensure they meet established quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves identifying defects, documenting inspection results, and collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to follow written procedures and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform visual inspections of products or materials for defects, damage, or non-conformance to specifications.
• Record and report inspection findings accurately and promptly.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and documentation as required.
• Communicate quality issues to supervisors and assist in root cause analysis.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to recognize visual defects.
• Basic computer and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
