Location: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Penfield Warehouse – Fairport, NY
Schedule: 3rd shift / Sunday through Thursday / 10:30pm – 7:00am + Weekend Mandatory OT
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

MUST HAVE 1 year of experience with stand-up forklifts

Job Description

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Material Handler II and play a vital role in our warehouse operations. You’ll be responsible for efficient and accurate handling of materials, supporting daily workflow, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and issue materials and supplies within the warehouse

  • Document movement of goods accurately using inventory systems

  • Assist and participate in inventory counts and cycle counts

  • Operate material handling equipment—such as pallet jacks and forklifts—safely and efficiently

  • Keep the work area clean and organized

  • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in warehouse or material handling (preferred)

  • MUST HAVE 1 year of experience with stand-up forklifts

  • Ability to operate material handling equipment safely

  • Capable of standing, lifting, and moving up to 50 lbs throughout the shift

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
