Location: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Penfield Warehouse – Fairport, NY
Schedule: 3rd shift / Sunday through Thursday / 10:30pm – 7:00am + Weekend Mandatory OT
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
MUST HAVE 1 year of experience with stand-up forklifts
Job Description
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Material Handler II and play a vital role in our warehouse operations. You’ll be responsible for efficient and accurate handling of materials, supporting daily workflow, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and issue materials and supplies within the warehouse
- Document movement of goods accurately using inventory systems
- Assist and participate in inventory counts and cycle counts
- Operate material handling equipment—such as pallet jacks and forklifts—safely and efficiently
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse or material handling (preferred)
- MUST HAVE 1 year of experience with stand-up forklifts
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely
- Capable of standing, lifting, and moving up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
