Title: Building Management System (BMS) Lead/PM
Location: Remote/Richmond, VA- This position begins remotely, with regular site visits as construction progresses, and will ultimately transition onsite once the facility is operational.
Type: 3+ year project
Hourly Pay: $80-$100+ per hour, based on level of experience

Are you ready for a career-defining challenge at the forefront of biopharmaceutical manufacturing? We’re seeking a Building Management System (BMS) Lead to join the core project team supporting a major, next-generation biologics and bioconjugation facility in the Richmond, VA area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and be accountable for meeting the overall program scope, schedule, and cost plans
- Ensure that BMS systems are delivered in compliance with applicable master specifications and standards, and project-specific requirements
- Supervise design and configuration activities related to the building control systems within the project scope.
- Ensures the appropriate vendor deliverables are completed in time to support the overall project schedule. These include, but are not limited to, flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of materials, network layouts, architecture drawings & electrical schematics
- Lead the BMS efforts from an Instrument & Controls perspective
- Responsible for the review and approval of vendor deliverables (AF&IDs, H series drawings, specifications)
- Responsible for ensuring there is adequate support for the commissioning & qualification of the system as required.
- Assists in facility start-up and troubleshoots problems with contractors and other trades to ensure proper operation
The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:
- Previous experience with Pharma large project/programs
- Ability to operate in a high-profile, complex greenfield project involving multiple stakeholders and evolving requirements.
- 5+ years of working experience with Pharma Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
