Pour Line Technician 
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
 

Overview

The Pour Line Technician is responsible for all chemical handling processes within the facility. This is a temp-to-perm position with opportunities for long-term growth and employee recognition. 

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and maintain a forklift license

  • Participate in emergency response team and attend training as required

  • Serve as backup during coworkers’ vacation and personal days

  • Off-load tanker trucks efficiently and safely

  • Maintain an organized pre-mix surge area; perform housekeeping and painting duties

  • Record daily logs and maintain inventories

  • Implement filter changes and track waste by stream weight

  • Coordinate waste shipments and complete manifests

  • Become a member of the waste minimization team

  • Monitor chemical consumption and utilization

  • Maintain agitation in chemical totes and keep storage areas, tank farm, and loading pads clean and orderly

  • Ensure accurate labels on all chemicals

  • Inspect and maintain personal protective equipment for chemical handling

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Physical agility and good hand/eye coordination

  • Strong communication skills (interpersonal, oral, and written)

  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to use hand tools

  • Understanding of and adherence to safety regulations

  • Dependable with a strong attendance record

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime

  • Self-motivated with continuous improvement mindset

  • Ability to work independently and follow tasks through to completion

  • Mechanically inclined; experience with plumbing and pneumatics preferred

  • Knowledge of procedures for handling and responding to chemical leaks, spills, or other emergencies
