Position Overview
Join the iconic Nasdaq MarketSite team as a part-time AV/Broadcast Production Technician based at our Times Square location. This dynamic role supports mission-critical AV and broadcast operations for daily live events, IPOs, and ceremonies.
Key Responsibilities
AV/Broadcast Production:
- Apply expert knowledge in one or more AV domains (e.g., IT, Lighting, Audio, Production Switching, or Digital Display systems).
- Operate and troubleshoot AV equipment for optimal event delivery.
- Maintain a foundational understanding of Broadcast Routing systems.
- Work collaboratively with all internal and external clients.
- Manage AV scheduling and daily operational needs.
Events:
- Book, coordinate, and support MarketSite opening/closing bell ceremonies, IPO launches, onsite and virtual events.
- Assist with AV technical calls and walkthroughs for clients and partners.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Zoom.
- Familiarity with network equipment, product installation, technical support, and diagnostic troubleshooting.
- Comfortable navigating both Windows and macOS environments.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
