Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22.00–$24.00 per hour, plus $1.75 shift differential for 2nd shift
Shift: Second shift, 2nd shift 3 PM–11 PM, must be willing to work overtime, 1–2 weekends/month, $1.75 shift differential for 2nd shift

What’s a typical day as Second Shift Embosser? You’ll be:
- Reading production schedules to determine timing for machine changeovers and runs, ensuring sufficient inventory for production
- Starting and stopping the operation of embossing and converting machines, aligning and fastening machine parts such as rollers and blades using hand tools
- Threading or feeding film through rollers, adjusting temperature, speed, and flow rate of machines and products, and monitoring operations for defects or deviations from specifications
- Recording production run quantities, performing quality control checks, and consulting with team leads or technical staff as needed
- Making machine changeovers, adjusting slit width, loading and unloading materials, and monitoring embossing processes for quality
- Cleaning machines and parts between runs and handling materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (including some heavy lifting)
- Operating and setting up machines that apply emboss holographic images and slit rolls of film, using computer equipment to print run sheets and labels, and following hazardous material handling requirements
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED (required); vocational degree is a plus
- Bring experience in a manufacturing environment or possess strong mechanical aptitude
- Are comfortable with physical tasks including frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving up to 65 lbs, and using hand tools
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgement, and basic computer proficiency
- Are willing and able to work overtime, including 1–2 weekends per month, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Can complete a respiratory clearance exam/use a respirator as needed
- Have forklift or material handling experience (preferred)
- Are flexible, eager to learn, and willing to cross-train in other departments as needed
- Are able to comply with a 100% non-smoking campus
