SIT DOWN Forklift Operator – Material Handler
Locations: Romeoville or Joliet
Are you experienced with SIT DOWN forklifts? Join our dynamic warehouse team in Romeoville or Joliet, where safety and efficiency are top priorities!
Shifts: 1st and 2nd Shift
Pay: $19/hr – $22/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate SIT DOWN forklifts safely and efficiently for all warehouse tasks.
- Use computers and handheld RF equipment.
- Load/unload trucks and carriers, verify shipments, and complete all picks/put-aways.
- Store stock properly, build pallets, and maintain organized areas.
- Complete daily maintenance checks and follow all OSHA safety rules.
- Work with urgency, accountability, and limited supervision.
Requirements:
- Recent SIT DOWN forklift operator experience (must).
- High School Diploma or GED; warehousing certifications a plus.
- Ability to read/write reports, communicate clearly, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving, people skills, and PC proficiency.
