Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20.05 to $22.00 per hour

What’s a typical day as Fork Lift Operator? You’ll be:
- Picking and moving parts based on customer orders using a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
- Reading and interpreting customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped.
- Moving items from storage locations to designated work areas following a set sequence (size, type, style, etc.).
- Filling requisitions and placing materials or stock items in designated areas.
- Scanning materials and moving them according to standard work instructions.
- Completing Forklift TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tasks as required.
- Assisting with counting and accurately tracking inventory, including physical inventory counts.
- Performing facilities maintenance duties such as sweeping, dusting, and mopping to maintain a clean workspace.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have prior forklift certification and experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Are computer literate and have experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Are able to perform repetitive duties accurately and within standard work parameters.
- Can lift up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and are comfortable with the physical demands of the job (standing, walking, stooping, climbing stairs, twisting, etc.).
- Are committed to working safely and in compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
