At Kelly®, we’re passionate about helping you find a job that works for you. How about this one? We’re seeking a Quality Technician to work at a premier manufacturing company in Menomonee Falls, WI. With us, it’s all about finding the job that’s just right.
Pay Rate: $19.00-$21.00 per hour (higher pay may be considered based on experience and skill set!)
Shift/hours:
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday – Thursday (trains on 1st shift for several weeks)
What’s a typical day as Quality Technician? You’ll be:
- Performing daily quality audits to ensure manufacturing processes and products meet established specifications and quality standards
- Conducting inspections using precision measuring equipment including CMMs, VMMs, calipers, micrometers, gauges, hardness testers, tensile/torsion testers, and microscopes
- Completing dimensional inspections of incoming raw materials and documenting findings through inspection reports, Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs), and quality alerts
- Reading blueprints and quality documentation while supporting metrology activities and gage R&R studies
- Mentoring Quality Technician I employees, assisting with operator training, and communicating quality concerns across departments and shifts
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to work instructions and maintaining a strong culture of quality and safety
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of quality experience or 5 years of manufacturing experience
- Are able to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment
- Hold basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
- Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Have an understanding of metrology fundamentals and GD&T (preferred)
