Pay Rate: $32.00 – $35.00/hr.
Day Shift : 6:45am – 7:00pm
Schedule example: (2/2/3)
- Week 1: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on
- Week 2: 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
What’s a typical day as Equipment Maintenance Technician? You’ll be:
- Training and coordinating activities of machine operators in equipment maintenance
- Troubleshooting non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment to resolve issues
- Dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment per blueprints or manuals
- Using diagnostic/test equipment for checkouts and calibration; rebuilding equipment as needed
- Performing and documenting scheduled preventive maintenance
- Moving and installing equipment as required; sourcing equipment parts when necessary
- Complying with company security and safety policies, including potential overtime or on-call assignments
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have an Associate’s degree in electronics (servo positioning theory) or equivalent education
- Possess 2–5 years’ experience in electro-mechanical equipment maintenance within manufacturing, or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Are skilled in using hand tools, test/calibration equipment, and maintenance tracking programs
- Can troubleshoot at the IO level and understand basic mathematics
- Are proficient with computers (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email)
- Understand electronic color codes, safety practices, and may have forklift certification
