Shift: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Position Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing 100% inspections of finished doors, identifying defects, completing repairs, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, basic measurement skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect doors and components for quality defects and compliance with specifications.
• Perform measurements, weight checks, and visual quality inspections.
• Repair defects using hand tools and materials such as sanders, putty, Bondo, glue, touch-up paint, and chisels.
• Document repairs, rejects, and quality findings accurately.
• Read and follow work orders, schedules, and customer specifications.
• Use tape measures and calipers to verify product dimensions.
• Communicate quality concerns and support troubleshooting efforts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Manufacturing, quality inspection, construction, carpentry, or woodworking experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and product specifications.
• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
• Experience using measuring tools and hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to work in a warehouse and wood manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
