Location: Middletown, PA
Pay Rate: $20.25/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Warehouse Runner / Material Handler to join our automated distribution center. This is a fast-paced, highly active warehouse position supporting our picking and packing operations.
The Warehouse Runner is responsible for keeping workstations supplied with the boxes, tape, bubble wrap, packing materials, and other supplies needed to keep production moving. You will travel throughout the warehouse to respond to requests from different stations, move materials using pallet jacks and carts, and help ensure associates have what they need to stay productive.
This is a physically active position that requires frequent walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving throughout the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to calls and requests from various warehouse workstations.
- Keep picking and packing stations stocked with necessary supplies.
- Deliver boxes, tape, bubble wrap, labels, packaging materials, and other supplies to work areas.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment.
- Monitor supply levels and replenish stations before materials run out.
- Transport cartons and materials safely and efficiently.
- Help keep warehouse operations moving by supporting pickers, packers, and other team members.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory and supplies.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and material-handling guidelines.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Communicate effectively with team members and respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, distribution, material handling, or production experience preferred.
- Previous pallet jack experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, automated warehouse environment.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize multiple requests.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to frequently walk and move throughout a large warehouse.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Must be comfortable performing physically demanding work.
