Schedule and Compensation
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Pay Rate: $21 per hour
- Work Arrangement: Fully onsite; remote or hybrid work is not available
- Work Setting: In-person front desk and administrative office environment
Position Summary
The Senior Data Entry Operator will provide front desk and administrative support in an onsite environment. This role involves greeting and assisting visitors, sorting mail, completing basic enrollment and I-9-related forms, performing high-volume data entry, and managing electronic files and office documents. The ideal candidate is punctual, professional, highly accurate, and comfortable working with confidential information and standard office technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional front desk support and greet visitors in a courteous manner.
- Sort, distribute, and organize incoming mail and other correspondence.
- Complete and process basic enrollment and I-9-related forms.
- Perform high-volume data entry with an average typing speed of 10,000+ keystrokes per hour.
- Enter and maintain information in databases and other computer systems.
- Create and update envelopes, labels, form letters, and correspondence.
- Perform basic electronic file management, including printing, copying, transferring, organizing, and deleting files.
- Access, review, and maintain information using computer systems and databases.
- Format and produce documents using word-processing, spreadsheet, database, and related software.
- Review data and documents for accuracy, identify errors, and make corrections.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Operate standard office equipment, including photocopiers, fax machines, binding machines, and similar equipment.
- Follow written and verbal instructions, established procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
- Support additional administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in data entry, front desk support, office administration, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume, accurate data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors.
- Professional communication and customer-service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar word-processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Ability to work with numbers and perform basic calculations.
- Ability to learn new systems and follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an office environment.
