Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

$23.50 per hour

Shift: 1st shift 6:00 am-2:30 pm

What’s a typical day as Manufacturing Operator:

  • Operating various computer-controlled equipment, including lathes, automated parts washers, grinders, honing machines, centerless grinders, and related tools to machine components to precise specifications.

  • Performing and recording dimensional and visual inspections per print specifications, including First Article inspections.

  • Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), ensuring quality, productivity, and dependability.

  • Accurately entering required information and quality inspection data into manufacturing documentation and computer systems.

  • Following all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies, including ISO and FDA compliance.

  • Completing all required training and ensuring compliance with training records.

  • Gowning up and working in a cleanroom environment as needed.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a High School diploma or G.E.D. (required).

  • Bring 1-3 years of experience in production, operations, manufacturing, or a related discipline.

  • Possess basic mechanical and computer skills, along with effective communication skills in English.

  • Have experience or knowledge working with computer-controlled equipment (preferred).

  • Have precision machining, inspection, or functional testing experience (preferred).

  • Are comfortable working in a regulated environment such as GMP, ISO, or FDA (preferred).

  • Are able to stand/walk for over 80% of the time and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

  • Can work independently and in a team setting.

  • Are detail-oriented and can accurately record measurements and data.

  • Have experience in a cleanroom or machine shop environment (preferred, but not required).
