We are seeking a Management Analyst to support the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.
***Role requires on-site work on the main NIH campus in Bethesda, MD with telework allowed if/when feasible depending upon projects, needs, and assigned workload.***
This is a long-term contract position which offers:

KEY TASKS
(1) Provide support to the Executive Officer/Deputy Director for Science Management at NIAID to ensure critical information and requests related to budget and financial management, human resources, operations, strategic planning, policy compliance, contracts and procurement, and facilities and logistics are not missed
(2) Provide analysis and advisory services regarding management functions.
(3) Prepare a variety of management and administrative studies to analyze and evaluate internal procedures, policies, processes and systems for the purpose of improving efficiency.
(4) Prepare reports and presentations related to budget, procurement, HR, travel, etc. using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
(5) Perform in-depth analysis and statistical comparison of organizational data and information.
(6) Assist financial managers prepare annual appropriate budget requests.
(7) Conduct workforce studies and provide in-depth analysis and reporting.
(8) Research and suggest improvements to develop areas of management policy.
(9) Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics for executive-level meetings, briefings, and events including space, technology, and materials.
(10) Manage end-to-end travel coordination for leadership and staff, including authorizations, vouchers, travel orders, and registrations.
(11) Track and follow up on action items, ensuring timely completion of leadership priorities including project status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings.
(12) Prepare, edit, and finalize routine and advanced correspondence, including letters, presentation materials, memoranda, reports, and briefing materials
(13) Oversee and manage complex executive calendars, prioritize meeting requests, independently resolve conflicts, and align schedules with strategic priorities
(14) Assist in the collection, compilation, and dissemination of scientific and programmatic information relevant to internal and external stakeholders
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
(1) Master’s degree in business, public administration, or related discipline
(2) Minimum of 5-7 years of related business and project management experience
(3) Experience supporting the overall operations, management, and efficiency of programs/offices within a federal agency preferred
(4) Must be able to work on-site on the main NIH campus in Bethesda, MD
