Kelly, in partnership with a growing machine manufacturer, is looking for a Machine Assembler in Pomona, CA.
These are temp to hire roles, meaning you will work for Kelly for a short period of time before being hired permanently with our client and offered several pay increases and benefits upon hire.
Details:
- Monday – Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Pay: $22 – $23 per hour
Job Description:
- Assemble machine parts and components using a variety of hand and power tools
- Follow mechanical blueprint instructions to assemble machines and verify detailing
- Notify Lead or Supervisor of issues and problems encountered during assembly
- Assemble machines with minimal guidance and supervision
- Adhere to all safety procedures when handling equipment and machines
- Distinguish between different parts and detailing as required for assembly
- Meet project deadlines and production schedules
- Transport parts and components to various departments as indicated on traveler
- Perform welding tasks as needed for machine assembly
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a heavy assembler – large parts required.
- Spot welding experience is a plus
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.
