Looking to make your next career move? We’re seeking a Project Manager to work at a premier manufacturing organization in Newburyport, MA. This is a fully onsite role.

Salary: $85,000–$125,000/year

Job Type: Direct-hire/Permanent

Travel: Travel as needed throughout the Greater Boston/NE area

What’s a typical day as Project Manager? You’ll be:

  • Taking full responsibility and accountability for assigned projects from start to finish.

  • Developing and managing project schedules, timelines, and production deadlines.

  • Coordinating closely with engineering, production, installation, estimating, and operations teams.

  • Managing project documentation including drawings, layouts, hardware, and cut sheets.

  • Overseeing engineering and detailing activities to ensure timely project completion.

  • Reviewing drawings and production details for quality, design, and buildability.

  • Preparing bills of materials and supporting special purchasing needs.

  • Monitoring project costs, budgets, and profitability, as well as managing change orders and billing.

  • Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams.

  • Conducting production reviews and coordinating field work, installation, and final closeout.

  • Building strong relationships with project teams and identifying process improvement opportunities.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have 5+ years of Project Management experience.

  • Bring experience in architectural production, millwork, construction, or a related industry.

  • Possess a strong understanding of construction techniques, project costs, scheduling, and budgeting.

  • Demonstrate proven ability to manage projects from planning through completion.

  • Exhibit strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Are comfortable interacting with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

  • Have exceptional attention to detail and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
