Machine Operator – Laser Floater Operator
$21.00/hr | 1st Shift | Temp-to-Hire
About the Role
We are looking for a Laser Floater Operator to perform critical tasks within our manufacturing cell. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with specialized equipment, can be cross-trained across multiple areas, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift Details
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 9-hour shift | Every other Friday off
Responsibilities
- Set-up, operate, clean, and troubleshoot assigned machinery
- Inspect substrates for quantity and quality prior to processing
- Perform 100% visual inspection before advancing product to the next operation
- Identify and hold out-of-spec product
- Document production activities in ERP system and quality databases
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Comfortable operating industrial equipment and being cross-trained in multiple areas
- Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
