Mechanical Assembler
Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
Location: Memphis TN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will perform basic routine tasks to support the assembly line, ensuring high-quality mechanical components are prepared and assembled according to company standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical units using visual aids, verbal and written instructions, and assembly diagrams
- Prepare and organize parts for assembly
- Use bar code reader to kit and track parts
- Operate basic equipment such as hand tools, presses, wire prep machines, and other assembly line tools
- Manually mask and prepare boards or parts as needed
- Comply with all company safety and security policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to read and comprehend English verbal and written instructions and technical documentation
- Working knowledge of safety protocols and mechanical component identification
- Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience
