Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$73 – $78 per hour (DOE)

What’s a typical day as a Maintenance Scheduler? You’ll be:

  • Developing and managing routine maintenance schedules for optimized workforce utilization and efficient execution of maintenance activities

  • Coordinating equipment availability, manpower allocation, materials, contractor support, and overseeing seamless, integrated planning for safe and timely maintenance work

  • Applying advanced scheduling tools (Prometheus and SAP S4 HANA) and integrating schedules to maximize impact and efficiency

  • Preparing detailed resource plans in collaboration with Maintenance and Operations leadership

  • Analyzing scheduling frequency, sequencing activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory and OEM requirements

  • Producing KPI-driven reports, identifying trends, and recommending corrective actions for schedule improvement

  • Training and mentoring maintenance planners and technicians in scheduling best practices and software utilization

  • Implementing digital tools for automated scheduling, exploring AI-driven predictive scheduling solutions, and driving process innovation

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Possess at least 5 years of hands-on maintenance scheduling experience within oil and gas or petrochemical facilities

  • Have recent (within the last 3-5 years) hands-on experience with Prometheus (SAP), and extensive knowledge of SAP S4 HANA

  • Hold a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED (Technical Degree or similar is a plus)

  • Are highly experienced in scheduling and execution processes, with a background in the use of scheduling software like MS Project, Prometheus, and/or Primavera P6 (a plus)

  • Have strong knowledge of maintenance equipment, best practices, and familiarity with PHMSA-regulated environments (preferred)

  • Are skilled in estimating/planning work such as scaffolding, insulation, welding, machining, and heavy equipment operations

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, interpersonal ability, fluency in English, and are a self-starter capable of working independently

  • Possess outstanding attention to detail and the drive to meet and exceed performance expectations

  • Have a valid TWIC card in good standing and a current state-issued driver’s license (DOT compliance required)

  • Are able to work in both office and field environments, meeting physical requirements such as lifting, climbing, walking, standing, and kneeling
