Sales Account Manager – Plastics Manufacturing
Kelly Services | Hudson, NH
2 days in office – 3 days travel within New England area
Relocation package available
Base Salary: $90,000–$110,000 + Commission
OTE: $150,000–$160,000
The Opportunity
Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager with a strong background in plastics manufacturing, injection molding, and/or tooling. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically knowledgeable sales professional who understands the plastics manufacturing process and knows how to build lasting customer relationships.
You’ll be responsible for developing business, managing customer accounts, and coordinating multiple projects while ensuring profitability, quality, and delivery expectations are consistently met.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the plastics manufacturing industry.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts.
- Apply technical knowledge of injection molding, tooling, tool building, and plastics manufacturing to customer needs.
- Manage multiple customer projects from initial opportunity through completion.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, and operations teams to ensure projects meet customer requirements.
- Monitor project profitability, schedules, quality, and customer expectations.
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and solutions to customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
- Proactively address customer concerns and ensure issues are resolved quickly.
- Track sales activity, forecasts, project status, and customer opportunities.
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales, profitability, scheduling, and quality goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales experience within plastics manufacturing or a closely related industry.
- Selling to medical/healthcare industry a big plus
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and tooling/tool building.
- Experience selling to or working directly with plastics manufacturing customers.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully developing and growing customer accounts.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and translate customer needs into effective solutions.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and profitability targets.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven approach.
Compensation
- $90,000–$110,000 base salary
- Commission opportunity
- Estimated OTE: $150,000–$160,000
