We are currently hiring a Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Pearl City, Hawaii. This position is responsible for receiving, preparing, storing, and distributing equipment and supplies while maintaining accurate inventory and a clean, safe warehouse environment.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, unpack, inspect, and store equipment and supplies.
- Package and prepare equipment and supplies for distribution.
- Verify materials received and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Palletize and shrink-wrap products as needed.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Prepare orders and supplies for distribution to patients.
- Complete distribution forms, requisitions, purchase orders, and packing slips accurately.
- Perform quality checks on products before stocking or distributing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and safe warehouse.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts.
- Clean and sterilize medical equipment.
- Perform minor equipment repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Maintain equipment records and files.
- Identify and correct paperwork errors or inconsistencies.
- Escalate issues to supervision when necessary.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of warehousing and inventory management.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Good verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to use handheld electronic devices.
- Ability to complete online training and testing.
- Basic printing, faxing, and scanning skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of DOT and FDA regulations.
- Home healthcare industry experience.
- Approximately 2 years of inventory management experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using inventory management software.
- Previous customer service or public-facing experience.
Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
- Frequently lift and carry items weighing 10–160 lbs., with lift assistance for items over 60 lbs.
- Push and pull carts or other equipment weighing approximately 20–60 lbs.
- Regularly use stairs, ramps, elevators, and other warehouse areas.
- Occasionally climb ladders.
- Frequently reach, bend, squat, and kneel.
- Use required PPE, including safety shoes, eye protection, gloves, and respiratory protection when necessary.
Work Environment
The position may involve exposure to varying noise levels, dust, fumes, odors, cleaning agents, chemicals, and other warehouse-related materials. Employees may work in both indoor and outdoor environments and may be required to use specialized PPE and equipment.
