Job Title: Ordering Coordinator
Location: Worthington/Lewis Center, OH
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Position Summary
The Ordering Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the procurement and delivery of wireless devices and related services. This position is responsible for accurately submitting, processing, and finalizing orders via multiple web-based and email-based platforms, in strict compliance with company and client service level agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, adaptability, and effective communication across various channels. The Ordering Coordinator will collaborate closely with Ordering Team members, manage relationships with key clients, and provide backup support as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess incoming requests for equipment or services related to mobile devices.
- Interpret customer requirements and submit corresponding orders to vendors.
- Accurately record order details in company-specific databases.
- Conduct daily follow-up on active orders to ensure timely and precise completion.
- Utilize resources and demonstrate critical thinking to prevent potential issues or delays.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and vendors to resolve issues and address concerns promptly.
- Provide comprehensive documentation for each order throughout the entire process.
- Effectively manage multiple client order requests, maintaining strong client relationships with both federal and commercial customers.
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries regarding orders and shipments.
- Prepare and deliver weekly status reports to supervisors covering assigned tasks.
- Support logistics operations as required to ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist the Shipping Department with order verification and identification.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must pass an ATF Clearance credit and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in wireless communications.
- General understanding of smartphone devices and related services.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer support abilities.
- Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds as necessary.
