Kelly Services is hiring a CDL Driver / Hoisting Operator for a growing fencing and construction operation in the Middleborough, MA area.

If you have a Class A or B CDL, enjoy operating equipment, and prefer hands-on field work over spending your entire day behind the wheel, this could be a great opportunity.

This role combines commercial driving, equipment operation, and construction work while supporting fence and guardrail projects throughout the region. You’ll work with an experienced field team on a variety of projects, including government and prevailing-wage work that may offer earning potential above the standard base rate.

Many projects are performed under government or prevailing-wage contracts, which may pay above the standard hourly base rate depending on the project, contract requirements, and applicable wage determination.

What You’ll Be Doing

This isn’t a driving-only position. You’ll be an important part of the field crew and help move projects from the truck to the finished installation.

Your day may include:

• Driving company vehicles and transporting equipment and materials to jobsites

  
  

• Operating machinery used for fence and guardrail installation

  
  

• Digging holes and setting fence or guardrail posts

  
  

• Loading, unloading, and staging materials

  
  

• Moving equipment and supplies around active jobsites

  
  

• Assisting crews with fence, guardrail, and related installations

  
  

• Using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment

  
  

• Working safely around vehicles, machinery, crews, and active construction areas

  
  

• Helping maintain an organized and productive jobsite

What We’re Looking For

We’d like to talk with you if you have:

• A valid CDL Class A or Class B license

  
  

• A current DOT Medical Certificate or the ability to obtain one

  
  

• Experience operating construction or hoisting equipment

  
  

• Comfort performing hands-on outdoor construction work

  
  

• Ability to safely lift 45 lbs. regularly and up to 95 lbs. when required

  
  

• Reliable transportation

  
  

• Ability to follow jobsite instructions and safety procedures

  
  

• A dependable, team-oriented work style

Even Better If You Have

• Massachusetts Hoisting License 2A and/or 1C

  
  

• OSHA 10 certification

  
  

• Commercial construction experience

  
  

• Fence or guardrail installation experience

  
  

• Experience operating excavation, lifting, or material-handling equipment

Candidates must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, including marijuana.
