Job details
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule pacemaker and defibrillator clinic appointments and follow-up visits.
- Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) for office patients.
- Arrange patient appointments for cardiac monitor connections.
- Connect cardiac monitors to patients and manage device return after study completion.
- Verify insurance authorizations and referrals prior to scheduling office studies.
- Orient patients on the hospital admission process and provide necessary documentation.
- Prepare and complete hospital admission documents and forms ahead of procedures.
- Coordinate procedures and studies with hospital staff and medical device companies.
- Collect and record patient vital signs and clinical information during appointments.
- Prepare and submit reports of rendered services as requested.
Education
- Associate degree required in Nursing
Experience
- No prior experience required
Skills
- Proficiency with word processors, spreadsheets, and web browsers
- Strong general computer skills
