Collections Specialist – Analyst
Kelly Services | 3–6 Month Contract
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Pay Rate: $28.85–$33.65/hour

Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Collections Specialist – Collections Analyst for a contract opportunity with a hybrid schedule. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented collections professional who is comfortable managing customer accounts, resolving payment issues, partnering with internal teams, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Collections
- Manage collections activities for an assigned portfolio of customers.
- Reconcile customer accounts accurately and efficiently to support timely payment.
- Investigate and resolve collection issues and account discrepancies.
- Monitor debit balances and other issues that may impact cash forecasting.
- Communicate collection and payment status with internal teams.
- Provide professional customer service while developing strong customer relationships.
- Review customer credit holds and determine which orders may be released.
- Develop and recommend payment arrangements with customers.
- Partner with Credit Analysts regarding collection issues, credit holds, and potential credit-limit changes.
- Work closely with Sales regarding account status, orders, and payments to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Identify accounts that may require bad debt reserves based on aging, payment trends, and country risk.
- Identify customers that should be referred to collection agencies.
- Provide collections documentation and information for internal and external audits.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate daily performance reports and track team metrics.
- Meet month-end and quarter-end reporting deadlines.
- Prepare collections reports and analyze trends, activity, and key performance indicators.
- Provide analysis and insights to management as requested.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of collections experience within a medium to large organization.
- Fluent Spanish required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP Financial modules.
- HighRadius experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
